Social StudiesOur Social Studies curriculum covers history from Ancient Civilizations through the Renaissance Period. We will look closely at Egypt, India, China, Greece, Rome, Early African Civilizations, Japan, the Early America's, the Middle Ages, and finishing up with the Renaissance and Reformation time period of Europe.

Assignments |
A variety of assignments will be given in Social Studies. These assignments need to be completed and turned in on time. Homework is an extension of the lesson taught in class each day. Students will be notified at least two days prior of an upcoming test. They will also be given a Study Guide to complete and review prior to the test.

Grading |
Formative assessments (daily work, homework, quizzes) count 30% of the final grade.
Summative assessments (tests, presentations, projects) count 70% of the final grade. Please ask for help if you need it! I am here to help you succeed! |
